Not receiving emails from PayPal

Hi folks
We've been operating paypal on our website for a fair few years now, and in general very few issues.
However about 2 weeks ago, we stopped receiving payment confirmation emails.
I've checked my account settings - they are set up with the correct email addresses - I've tested the email accounts - no errors, and we're receiving all the other emails with no problems. They aren't going to spam, they simply aren't being received.
Is the issue at PayPal's end, because it's not at ours!

Hi guys.
Sorry to hear that you have been experiencing difficulties when trying to receive email notifications from PayPal.
Can you please try adding service@paypal.co.uk to your email address contacts. This should help with emails being received.
Also, please try checking your junk/spam folders as sometimes emails from PayPal show there and not in your inbox.
If you are still encountering problems, you should try contacting us directly via Twitter @AskPayPal or via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK and we can look into this further for you.
David.

Pay_Pal_David, you seem to have been posting this apparently useless response for years now but never admiting that there is a problem. Not very helpful.
Like the many, many other people here, our charity has recently stopped receiving notification emails from PayPal for no apparent reason. Nothing has changed with our email or PayPal account settings. Our notifications have been going to a nominated gmail account for several months without issue.
If there is a known problem with gmail – or any other provider – PLEASE TELL US so we can pursue it. Or, preferably, sort it out between yourselves and Google. That's what we're paying you for.
As a charity, we cannot afford to miss notifications of payment!

Stop posting this canned response. Very rarely if at all does this point to spam/junk mail issue. There have been many complaints and because of this. I do not sell on Paypal anymore via Ebay. The complaints go nowhere and the techies who should know do nothing.
I am IT where I work and a data capture needs to be put on the backend servers that send out the email. Pretty simple for he experts

Can David the Robot go away and a real person step in?
Maybe after a decade PayPal will admit to a problem and then finally do something about it.
What a useless forum!

Same old problem yet again and as usual zero response from pp tech dept or even the courtesy of acknowledging that there is a continuing problem with pp email notifications. This is appalling treatment for a large company to mete out to its customers.
is it to do with British Telecom ISP customers only?
iI am in Dorset uk and use but infinity. All other email services are good.
finger out time PP,

It is not UK only, I am in the states - Washington State WaveCable and it is the same here. I am IT and have suggested several times what needs to be done (this is what I do at work) and nobody listens. They tell you they are taking it to their tech department so some dude gives a canned response of junk mail. It has to do with their server(s) more to the point email server(s). Most paypal emails I can receive, just when someone buys stuff, do not get that email. If you notice that is a different email with DNS name. Even if it is not the email that people are having issues with check their other emails like service email for example or when you purchase something, do you receive that email
I stopped selling on Ebay/PayPal

I have now been added to the long list of users not receiving any email notifications when a payment is made. I have done nothing to my account settings either.

Same here. After almost a decade suddenly stopped receiving emails just this weekend. I'm having my IT Guru look into it, but I really doubt they ever were sent in the first place.
