Fraud? or just Paypals system?

Hi I recently agreed to sell my phone and post it to Nigeria (pretty random so got me thinking)

so amount was agreed so I sent an invoice and they agreed to pay, I have received an email in regards to it saying the person had sent the money and paypals systems holds the money until I send the royalmail barcode to the customer (this all got bells ringing in my head) but when I went to check my paypal I had nothing. 

Has anyone else had issues like this?

im actually selling phone aswell and buyer wants it shipped to south africa saying they work in airport so cant collect im very unsure about this so im looking for help aswell

this exact thing has happened to me and i was very unsure, something didn't seem right so trying to find out if it's ok.
