Hello,
I just received an email from a buyer confirming they sent the agreed amount to my paypal, using their own paypal account.
Parallel to that, I got an email (seemingly from paypal) in my email inbox associated with my paypal account. Truth be told, I found it in my spam (after reading the buyer's mail), and restored it to my inbox.
Now, there is no content in the email, only the paypal logo and the title indicating that this is a "notice of reception of payment." Also, in my paypal account, there is no trace of payment/funds.
Is this a spam?
Thanks for your help,
Angi

Hi there angici,
This sounds like a phishing email I am afraid.
If you have received a payment you would see it firstly in your PayPal balance and secondly when you click on 'History' in your account.
Never send an item unless you can see the payment.
Send this email to spoof@paypal.com and they can confirm that it is not genuine.
