Changing Payment Preferances

I'm facing a really annoying problem as paypal will not let me pay straight from my card.

Previously when I didn't have a paypal balance the payment came straight off my card. Now, I have about £2 balance but need to refund about £14 pounds worth. However, it isn't being allowed whereas previously it would have worked and come straight from my card.

Its really annoying as these refunds are urgent and moreover because it was working before

You cant issue a refund from your credit/debit card. If the refunds are urgent you can use "send money" to send the people involved the funds in question. If you do that, make sure you reference the fact that the payment is a refund for a previous transaction, and include the transaction id in your note to recipient

It'd be safer to upload the funds to your account, or to get a friend with paypal to send you the amount you need then repay them, but its up to you

To send money, sign in to paypal, click the send money tab, enter the recipients email address, then select the payment type, for example, personal payment owed. Be aware, when you send a personal payment that is card funded there are fees to pay. If you're sending a refund you should elect to pay them yourself to ensure your buyer gets the full amount
