A Big Question About Paypal and Accounts

Hi guys,

First of all let me say if this thread is in the wrong area I'm sorry and feel free to move it.

I have had a personal paypal account for years, and mainly use it for eBay etc. Recently, I have started a website and we are doing a charity raffle to raise money for disabled children in Thailand.

My question is this: Can I set up another Paypal account linked to my bank account, so I can get people from large distances away to send their couple of pounds there, rather than into my personal one? Or is there a way in which I can keep certain transfers seperate in my account?

Ideally I'd like to keep them totally seperate so I don't mix up my personal transactions and one's related to the website. Would it be best to set up a business account (even though there are no profits involved?).

I apologise for rambling on a bit but I hope I have got my points across, I need help! lol.

Cheers,

Frank.

Hey there Frank1990,

If you are registered as a charity, you can open a business account and state non-profit organisation. You will be requested to provide supporting documents for the charity, but once approved you could avail of lower fees.

If you are not a charity, you will have the normal fees and you can also set up another PayPal account.

Please note though, you can only attache our bank account to one PayPal account at a time.
