wire transfer fees refunded a lot of fivers

Just seen on my account that paypal has refunded all the £ 5 fees they charged for wire transfers since the 1st January this year.

All seems a bit puzzling, no explanation given, and why only for this year, how about the last 3 years or more???

Seen a couple of people on Ebay forum had the same, this must have JUST started.

Just noticed it on my account too and i aint conplaining, ITS WELL OVERDUE 🙂

just looked at mine and have lots of fivers,great stuff paypal

i've had mine too. Apparently it was because of European Legislation which came into force on the 1st January this year which meant that Paypal should have been offering faster payments as their standard withdrawals option. I don't know whether they have been instructed to repay these fees or because they were non compliant they are just doing the right thing, but either way I'm pleased to get the refund.

hi leek when did yours appear in your account I havent had any yet and can only imagine Im due a bit bit weird why everyone I know has had theres and my accounts in good standing
