paypal not acknowledging my santander account!

Hi im with santander(uk) and paypal says it cant withdraw funds to a debit card.why is this? its my money and now i cant get at it! I'd never have sold on ebay if i'd known id be a slave to paypal and possibly forced to spend my money on overpriced ebay items(i sold my items way cheaper than most!) anyone know what i should do? please help!!!!

You cannot withdraw funds to any "card" in the U.K.

You can only withdraw funds to a linked and verified bank account thats added to your paypal account.
