Hi BrendaSharman,
Generally when it shows as eBay Europe Sarl it is eBay fees. I would check to see if you were due to pay eBay fees for any items sold. If you have not sold anything and you have been charged please contact us and advise of this and we will investigate for you.
Please let us know how you get on

Good morning Paula ...
Is Ebay/PayPal involved in a scam ?
£12.35 GBP to eBay Europe Sarl
The seller/buyer forum's are full of people complaining that Ebay/PayPal are removing sums of money from their bank accounts using vague excuses; and without prior permission even though they haven't benefited from any sales - most believe it's fraud !
Since last year ( 2012 ) I sold only one item on Ebay and that was on December 3rd 2012, and that was nearly five months ago, i.e. a £49.50 Listing 261137174155 for a central heating programmer. I paid the fees for doing this last year. I now find Ebay/PayPal have removed £12.35 from my bank account even though I haven't sold anything since last December.
Their response:
They replied back this morning 22nd April 2013 saying: it's because I listed (and didn't sell) two car manuals and a Kodak power adapter during March. As I have stated, my only sale using Ebay was four/five months ago, of which the fees were paid; why have they gone into my bank account and removed money that doesn't belong to them.
This is their message:
Hello Adriann,
Thank you for your email. I understand your concern about the fees charged on your invoice for the month of March.
Adriann, I have reviewed you account and can see that it is in good standing. Please understand eBay and PayPal are not scamming and their is not fraud involved. Let me take the opportunity to explain you the invoice and the charges. You have been charged by eBay for the month of March 2013 for a total amount of £12.35. This covers the fees for the transactions done for the items 'Original factory Ac adaptor, Haynes workshop manual Jaguar, Seat Ibiza hatchback'. You have been charged fees for listing and selling items in this duration which is available in your invoice. eBay never charges for any purchase. As for the item '4 setting brand new electronic Baxi potterton' you had sold this item to your buyer and completed the transaction.
Message ends:
They mention transactions ! What transactions? Basic listing of items without selling them is not a transaction.
I am now shutting down my account with both Ebay and PayPal, and will use an alternate means of paying for my online purchases !
Kind regards,
Adrian M. Farmer

I've been charged £38.43 for a load of wood I've apparently sold. I've sent emails to the person who bid for it and he's ask much much the price is. I'm from Norfolk, England and the bidder is from America. I've stated local delivery in description. This seems like a scam and I haven't actually sold anything but have been charged for it. The best PayPal have come up with is a website helpline. Has anyone any experience of this? The charge is from e-bay Europe?

If you have sold something and the buyer has not paid then file an item not paid for dispute and your ebay seller fee will be refunded.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

You may not have sold something but have you listed anything??
You pay a listing fee even if that item does not sell as you are paying ebay to advertise if for sale.
