How long can I expect to eait before a formal complaint is at least acknowledged. I'm sure I read 24hrs when I made the complaint, but not heard anything in over 3 days.

Thanks @kernowlass so, I should have an answer in 4 weeks, and be kept updated throughout the process. In which case, I would really like to know what is happening so far!!!!!!

Despite my missgivings, given my previous lack of support from customer services, I did ring them, to be told they didn't know. Even the supervisor (senior customer service advisor) couldn't tell me anything. Apparently, becuase my original issue and the complaint have been expidited to PayPal's highest level and because it is a technical issue, no one has any answers. THis really just underlines my continued concerns over the appalling customer services systems that are in place within this company (not individuals - the system). So over two weeks on from $500 being lost between arriving in my account and my available balance I am no closer to knowing when I will get access to my money, or the status of my complaint.
