Adding Funds

Hi there, I am trying to add funds to my paypal account via direct debit from my added bank accoung and it keeps throwing back a message saying "Too much time has passed since you added the account, try removing the account then re adding it!" I have done this thre times over and confirmed the four digit code/s also and still saying the same message.

Any one know why this is happening ?? please :O)
