linking debit card to accounts

Hi,

I keep getting the following message when trying to link my card

We're sorry, but that credit card can't be linked to additional PayPal accounts. Please link a different credit card

I have no other accounts set up with my card

Any ideas??

Have you EVER had another paypal account even closed that that card was attached to??
