change paypal funding to another country

Hi, I have an account with paypal spain and this is linked to my spanish bank account. Like all of us we suffer from exorbitant exchange rates from euros to sterling.I have a uk bank account and would like to cancel my spanish account and debit card details and substitue my uk bank and debit card. Can I do this. thanks

No, paypal is country specific so you can only add country specific cards and bank accounts to your paypal account.

Hi Kernowlass, many thanks for the info. What if I open a paypal account in the uk and initially have billing and delivery addresses in uk and then change my delivery address to spain. Thanks

Sorry but as paypal is country specific you can't change an address to another country on a paypal account.
