Have a compromised checking account. Had it shut down, opened new checking account and made it my preferred method. Have been trying for about a week to remove the old account (no transactions pending) and have been unable to do so......someone has tried to fraudulently take money from this account and I would like it removed from my paypal account, just keep getting a message that it can't be done right now, try again later......HELP
In such cases, we would recommend you contact our Customer Support, so they can remove the bank account. You can do this by calling or by sending an email through the secure Message Centre on your account., You will these contact details in the Help section of your account.
It could be a security measure blocking the removal or that the bank is linked to a subscription or billing agreement within your Paypal account.
