Using "PayPal here" abroard and receiving funds in local currency....?

Hi, I have a PayPal here device registered in the UK, but I will traveling in Asia and want to use it to receive payments for iterms/services in the local currentcy. Does anyone know if this is possble, as at the moment it defaults to GBP  ?  Thanks

I'm afraid the card reader cannot be used when you are travelling internationally 

You can only use the device within the country where your PayPal account is registered.

Thanks for your response.  PayPal Here is marketed as a product that can be used ANYWHERE. Text from the Paypal website:

"Get paid, wherever you do business. Wherever you are, accept secure card payments on your smartphone with PayPal Here"

• Being unable to accept payments outside of my country of registration make this product useless to me as I do business internationally. This is surly  false and inaccurate advertising on the behalf of paypal. I have looked extensively on the paypal website and nowhere can I find and information that this product can only be used in the country of registration.

  Please advise how I can get a refund for this product ? and I I also suggest that you update your wedsite with the relivant information stating that this product can only be used in the country of regisitratuuon and not ANYWHERE !!
