Trying to remove old bank card!

Have changed banks and added new card, have linked everything to new card and still cant remove old card or change address. Im no longer at the address linked to old card, the old card is no longer active yet I still cant remove it! Better yet, I cant update any details linked to the old card because the 3 digit security code needed to verify its me doing this does not work anymore because the card is no longer active!

Questions, how do I remove this card? Why is this so difficult? Why are you still looking for security info to be entered for a card that is no longer active?

"This credit card has been refused by the bank that issued your credit card. For details on why your card was refused, please contact your credit card issuer's Customer Service department. Or, you may want to try adding a different credit card".

The reason would be that the account for this card has been closed and the card is no longer active and has been destroyed!

So I ask again, how do I remove this card from my account.?

To remove a Credit or Debit Card:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click Profile near the top of the page.
3. Click My money.
4. In the ‘Debit and credit cards’ section, click Update.
5. Select the card you want to remove and click Remove.
6. Review the information and then click Remove.

Hi, I am having the same problem and I don't know about you but the reply is what I have been going in circles trying to do and got nowhere. Please post an update if you manage to get rid of it as it is driving me crazy. It won't let me remove the card as it is a dead card and can't be verified, I have already added a new card. and the old card is registered at an old address which it also won't let me remove as it is still linked to this damn card. Can't find an answer anywhere.

Why not phone customer services and ask them to remove it for you if they can.?

Contact us bottom of paypal pages > use the call us option on the left..

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent.
