Replacing old phone numbers

I am registered with paypal at my uk address, but both my cards are also registered at that address, but I now work abroad and no longer have a uk phone number that I use, I have tried updating my profile contact numbers but the system will not allow me it keeps rejecting the numbers I try to put in, any ideas how I can register these numbers, because I am abroad just now I cant use paypal as It checks me for security reasons which is ok but I do not have the old numbers any more and that stops me using the paypal system to buy online items. I hope someone can help me solve this !

Paypal is country specific so if you move country you have to open another paypal account in that country and add an address / phone number / and bank accounts from within that country.

Thanks, I am currently in West Africa and can not risk using a local bank so I will have to give paypal a miss for the foreseeable future, I appreciate your help

No problem, i have NOTHING to do with paypal so that sounds like a plan to me.
