Why do you want to remove your card??
Are you going to add it and withdraw it everytime you use paypal to pay????
When you pay a seller it is never instant > paypal CREDIT the seller and then wait for your funds to process through to paypal. So they may not have cleared through to paypal yet.
Also if for any reason the seller needs to refund you that refund automatically goes back to your card but may fail if you have removed it.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Hi coldbunnyy,
Welcome to the community forum.
When you have authorised a payment to a merchant, you have agreed to make a purchase for a specified amount.
With a basic authorisation, your payment will show as 'Pending' in your PayPal account until the merchant captures it. A capture is when funds move from your PayPal account to a merchant's PayPal account. After the capture the transaction will show as 'Complete' in your account and you will be notified in an email from PayPal that your payment is captured.
Merchants can capture the payment straight away; however in some instances they may need to capture the payment at a later date. For example they may need to confirm item availability, assemble your goods or account for late changes to the order.
So there is nothing wrong when you see the payment pending it just means that the merchant hasn't completed everything on their end.
I hope you find this useful.
