Hi
When trying to reset my password I get a screen asking for my card number to verify I own the account. Is this normal?

Hi there Teac532c,
If you are trying to change the password on your PayPal account, you may be asked to enter your card or bank account number as verification that it is the account holder who is trying to chnage the password.
This is standard procedure as a security measure. Just make sure that you can see the s in 'https//:' and that there is also a lock symbol on your web browser.
I hope this helps,
David.
