NotProvided in my shipping address - WHY? HOW TO REMOVE?

Hello!

I don't understand why this happens, but in my address, just after my city, is NotProvided text.

I cannot remove that. If I go to edit my address, I don't see that text there. It only appears when I am buying,

so this text appears always for sellers of the item I am purchasing - and some of them write also NotProvided

to packages they send!!! I tried to contact directly to Paypal, but I didn't get answer for this.

What can I do?

Are you talking about ebay sales or sales direct via paypal?

this happens when I pay via Ebay

Go to your my ebay > summary > account tab > addresses > check all 4 that are in there.

1. Registration address.

2. Payment address.

3. Primary postage address......this is the important one.

4. Primary return address.

I don't have problems of my address in Ebay - but in Paypal.

so when I buy something in Ebay, I get directed to Paypal, I click confirm,

and the all goes fine and I manage to pay what I was buying.

But when I see the confirmation email from Paypal, it says my address

with this NotProvided included. Ebay shows the address without it,

but as you might know, the sellers will also get email notification from Paypal,

so there they will see this NotProvided.

i got the same problem, i worte to ebay and paypal, no one can help me.....

all my adresses are identical on both platforms

whats the meaning of NOTPROVIDED?

Not Provided has something to do with how you checkout.

I'm sure when you login to your account you cannot see that NotProvided onyour Home address. Yeah?

When checking out alwasy make sure to check the shipping address. If you're enrolled with onetouch or turbocheckout opt out of it.

During checkout sometimes our browsers automatically fills in the possible address that you have used in the past. It also checks addresses that you have used with ebay and PayPal including gift addresses. Not Provided entries usually happens if you missed out a box like 2nd line of address/city/county.

Unfortunately PayPal doesn't have the way to completely rectify this but i know you can call them and erase the previous addreses or gift addresses on their records to avoid this happening

I have the same issue.. and it happens on al sorts of different sites
