Help...!
I've just tried to up date/register my credit card on my account but paypal is saying my card details already exist on another account which i set up years ago on and old pc and no longer have the log in details for...??
How can i access my old account to close it so i can use my credit card on my new account??
Any Ideas would be welcome...Thanks.

I seem to be in the same boat as you, I had an account which I had not used in years, I then opened up my paypal account with my new passwords, only to be told that my bank details are already on a old account, which I cant remember the password for. It is really frustrating.

Hi there Grunty,
A card can only be registered to one account at a time. You will be able to add your financial details to a new PayPal account once you've removed them from the old PayPal account.
You will be able to log in to the original account using the email address and password you used to register at that time. If you can't remember the password for the account, you can use the 'Problem with Log in?' link to regain access to that account.
If you don’t know the email address that is registered to the original PayPal account, or can't successfully regain access to that account we suggest that you call us and we will be happy to help.
@ agnes56 - this also answers your query.
