How to delete a postal address which doesn't appear on my profile!

Hi

I have noticed there is now a neat drop down box to pick your shipping address from when paying for goods.  Unfortunately the "default" address is choses is my old work I got made redundant from and they are closing that building down now.

So I noticed, and I changed it, and thought "I bet I'll forget to do that one time and have something sent there in error" so I went into my account to find my postal addresses and delete my old work one.  But its not there.

So how can I get it off that drop down list?

Hi there Alistairk,

When you were making payments in the past, you would have manually typed your postal address on the Review your Payment page. As a result, this address would then appear on your account as a 'Gift Address'. You won't be able to see any of the gift addresses on the Profile on your PayPal account.

As you are already aware, you can then select this address when sending payments in the future in order to have your items posted to the address. I understand that the address that was appearing is no longer a valid address.

I will investigate this further for you and contact you directly offline.
