Change funding source

Hi,

I have purchased an item on eBay but instead of the money coming from my paypal balance (which is quite substantial) it has scheduled it from my bank account instead. I have more money in my paypal account than in my bank account but I do not see an option to change the fuinding sorce for this one transaction anywhere in my account.

Any way too do this?

Did you use PAD at all?

Yes I did.

Thats why then.

PAD is a sheduled payment and so can only work with your bank account.

If you turn PAD OFF then paypal should use your balance.

If You select PAD as the payment method, the entire transaction amount will be funded from the primary bank account linked to your PayPal account, even if You have a balance in this PayPal account, except where there are insufficient available funds in the primary bank account. You authorise PayPal to submit an instruction to debit from your primary bank account the amount of the transaction, and to re-submit this instruction if the initial debit is rejected or if insufficient funds are available.
