Something's not right with my account. I purchased an item on 2nd feb, and was told by the retailer (5th feb) that paypal are sending the money by echeque, so there will be a delay. When logging in to paypal, I was told that my card is about to expire. Even though it only expires in October. And I haven't had any warning emails, saying my card is about to expire, so doubt that I had entered an incorrect date last time. Anyway, I go to check the card, and it's gone! Of course, I entered it in again. The pain (literally) is that this purchase is for some pain relief medication. So paypal's 'glitch' is not welcome 😞 My concern now is, can paypal send the money instantly (bank transfer), now I have re-entered my card? (i have already asked via email). And should I be concerned that something's wrong with my account, or is this a one-off glitch? Thanks, Peter

Look like paypal had already taken the money from my bank account, which makes the whole exercise of doing the echeque pretty meaningless.

No response from paypal.
So the retailer cancelled the order, and 'refunded' the papyal 'payment'.
And I re-ordered using Visa. Which I will continue to do from now on.
