Hi, I have an australian account with an australian address.
I recently added my USA wells fargo bank account and its CC, however, I see no way to confirm them.
The USA bank acct has same name and address as my Australian acct.
Is it possible, if yes how?
OR
Is it not permitted to have a USA bank acct linked to an Australian account?
Thanks,
Murray

Hi bankingconfirm,
Welcome to the Community Forum!
Goods news!
As PayPal is a US owned company, it is possible to add and confirm a US bank account to your Australian account.
If you click 'profile' at the top of your page, 'My Money' and then 'update' beside 'bank accounts', you should see the option to confirm the US bank.
I hope this helps,
Conor

Thanks Conor, I'm familiar with the process but there is no "Confirm" option for my USA acct which I just added.

Hi bankingconfirm,
I've done a bit of digging for you and it looks like what I posted previously was incorrect.
You are unable to confirm your US bank in this situation, as there is no need for us to establish a direct debit for bank funded payments.
Your US bank can only be used in this situation to add funds to your balance or withdraw funds from your account.
It cannot be used to fund payments due to differing bank regulations in the US and Australia.
Apologies for the confusion
Conor

Not sure but does this help at all??
If not then hang about and a moderator should be about shortly.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
