Bank account disabled

I just opened a paypal account keep trying to add a bank account but saying bank account disabled.  How can bank account be disabled when I have never added it have sent over bank statement as requested but heard nothing back,  driving me mad cos i cant withdraw money!

Have you ever had that bank account linked to another paypal account, even one that is now closed?

Are you trying to add a UK bank to a UK paypal account and is it a bank account paypal accept?

Have you ever had a failed bank transfer or negative balance on from that bank account on another paypal account?
