Bank Account Information Security Measure - Broken/Not Working

Okay, I really need help with this one.

I'm being stopped from changing details of my account (password/primary email) due to the BAI-SM.

Now, I'm 100% sure that I have the right number. I've copied and pasted it from my online back details, and have a bank statement in front of me on my desk with the number in it as well.

Am I missing something in regards to what I'm supposed to put in, or spaces, dashes, etc.?

To change my password I had to do the run around of "forgetting" my password, and seeing as I can't do this with my email, it is getting to be pretty frustrating because the registered email add. is one I am discontinuing to use.

Help please!
