I have just added a bank account to my new paypal account. I checked my bank statement and retrieved 4 digit code sent by paypal.
Logged into paypal account using edge browser.
I then viewed account via paypal wallet, clicked on [Submit confirmation code]. I cannot enter the code as the confirmation field is disabled
I logged in using chrome and field was not disabled

In my case it is inactive everywhere (Chrome, Firefox and Safari)... I called support and they've inputted the code for me and now my account has a verified credit card, but the bank account stays with a warning of not being confirmed. The support officer assured me this is OK...
For people trying to resolve this issue - if you have a bank account and a credit/debit card awaiting confirmation, I think the support officer entered the 4digits in the Credit Card confirmation.
I still don't like seeing this warning and hope this is a temporary issue to be resolved soon (one would think that PayPal had figured such things out, long time ago).
