I placed an order on a retail site and after selecting pay with PayPal was taken to a PayPal web address with webapp/Hermes in the web address (can't remember the full address but I took a screen shot). On the left of the screen was my one and only address but the preferred address at the top wasn't mine. I was very close to clicking pay now when I noticed and made the correction. Using Google to search the address I found it was our local Hobby Craft store. The odd thing was I had previously ordered from that store's web site using their collect in store option.
It seems that PayPal may have changed their app which now allows a supplier to change my preferred address to that of a store.
It would seem the delivery address in this case the collection address , was added or saved to your profile. This would have been when you made the last purchase with that Merchant.
I would suggest your clear the cache and cookies on your browser and double check the settings on your PayPal account.
