I've been using Paypal for years without a problem. I recently tried to sign up for the Paypal credit card and was denied then Paypal limited my account out of the blue. I submitted a bill with my name and address on it as requested by Paypal and now they want me to send them a photo ID, which I do not have. I opened my bank account that is connected with Paypal with a drivers licence I had that has since expired and I have no passport or military ID, so what do I do now? I tried emailing Paypal but get nothing but back but them saying to call them, I have no phone or time during business hours when I can get to a phone easier. I do have my social security number that I am extremely reluctant to send anywhere.
there are two things i want to know. first, why is my account being limited (I have 1 day left to "verify" everything before it gets restricted, I think)? second, what can I do to have everything go back to normal if I don't have a picture ID and don't really want to send my S.S# to anyone.
My account will likely become restricted before I get an answer to this so an answer in a timely manner would be very much appreciated.
