instant transfer issues...please help!!!!

i have had an issue with instant transfer being removed from my options. it has occurred within the last week. when i placed a call to paypal i got a very rude rep. who said it was a security issue and she could not answer any questions. i asked to speak to a supervisor , who again was rude and stated it was a security issue and she would not be able to answer my question. the call center was outside the u.s. i have never had an issue with paypal all of my transaction cleared . i have bank accounts and credit card accounts like most people,,with any issue i have always received an answer rather i like the answer or not i at least got an answer. doesn't paypal operate like a bank or credit card ? what is with all the secrecy???

Which payment methods are available to you... PayPal account balance, credit card, debit card, eCheck?
Is Instant Transfer no longer available for any payments, or... just "some" payments?
The following text from PayPal's User Agreement explains payment method limitations...
3.4 Payment Method Limitations. In order to manage risk, PayPal may limit the Payment Methods available for a transaction. In addition, Payment Methods may be limited if you make a PayPal payment through certain third party websites or applications. In such cases, you may choose to continue with the transaction with the understanding that you may have fewer avenues available for dispute resolution should the transaction turn out to be unsatisfactory.

I ran into that same problem today. Very unhelpful when I called. Then I decided that I should transfer my balance to my bank account and noticed that I had a limit on that. Turns out I need to further verify my account information. Once I did that I was magically allowed to continue with my payment using instant transfer. Why they couldn't figure that out for me is mind blowing. I wasted 30 minutes of my time with "professionals" and then had to figure it out on my own.
