I am new to Paypal and I am trying to get the limit lifted on my account. I two less than $1 amounts have been transfered and my reporting them has been ackowledged. When I enter my social security number an error message comes up saying Paypal can not verify my SS#. I have no credit or debit cards and do not want credit or debit cards. What can I do.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish KaGe?  Sounds like you've added and confirmed your bank account. I'm not entirely sure why you're trying to confirm your SSN (unless you're trying to lift your withdrawal limit).  You can always give us a call and we can try and see what the problem is there.  Otherwise, I'm not sure what the issue is. All adding credit/debit cards would do is give you more funding options. If you're fine with sending echecks, then you should be good to go.

So, my son is in college across the country (CALIFORNIA) and I sent him money through my checking account. When I sent him more than $500.00 in 30 days, paypal would not allow him to withdraw it and transfer to his VERIFIED bank account.

There was NO NOTICE on the website as I arranged to start sending money to my son about this LIMIT< and the requirement of my son, or me adding our SSNs to either or both accounts to allow the limit of $500.00 !!

This is MY MONEY and I sent it to my SON, he should not be LIMITED on MY MONEY being withdrawed and sent to his VERIFIED bank account.
