Account Limitations--Only way to solve is phone call!

Haven't used my Paypal much in the last few months except for purchasing applications for my Droid over the internet. Just tried to log in and was told I had limited access to my account, and that it needed to veryfy my bank account and location. When I tried to complete verification, it said I couldn't add a bank account or location because my account was limited. This is a glitch in the system, or a 'loop'...Basically a catch 22 no one can solve via the internet on their own. It can only be solved by waiting for customer service via the phone and having them remove the limitations manually.
The customer service rep got it done, but when I mentioned that I'd looked this up in the forums and everyone was having this issue with limited accounts getting looped, and asked if Paypal was doing anything to fix it, she seemed defensive and said 'I really don't know' and put the music on so I couldn't talk to her.
I think we need to stand up for ourselves about this---either contacting Paypal with complaints about how ridiculous this is (the resource center doesn't tell you jack, and there are loads of posts in the forums by people with the same issue, but no responses telling how to solve them) or just contacting the Better Business Bureao. This is our money, our security, our privacy, and our extremely personal financial information they're toying with. Seeing them handle it in this way really scares me.

I have decided that I will not use paypal anymore! They want too much info. I think they have gone waaay overboard. The representative on the phone at Paypal told me she thought that the fees from the credit card/debit card companies were getting too high and they wanted to start using the bank routing numbers instead. I still don't think its a good idea,

Same here!!! I am closing my account as soon as they release all of my funds from the ridiculous 21 day hold. They have crossed the line and I don't have the patience to deal with this bs anymore.
