A person is sent me money, the money arrives in my account SHORT by just under $7 AND it lists a product that I am not aware of...... SO I refund the money and say .. The money you sent me was the incorrect amount!!! .

The previous DAY I also received money and submitted a deposit be made to my bank for the full amount received.   As soon as I refunded the incorrect money from the second transaction, Paypal stopped the bank deposit and told me my account was NEGATIVE.... How on earth can it be negative?    I am ONLY depositing what was in the account from the day before,    I REFUNDED the exact amount of the transaction that was SHORT !  SO I do not understand HOW I my account is Negative?

Paypal does not charge for depositing money in my bank, they say they don't

The money I received "short"  was NOT in my account  for 15 mins before I refunded the exact same amount  I received...  Suddenly I see "FEES" ....  FEES for what? Depositing money?  Refunding incorrect money? FEES FOR WHAT?

What the heck?   Someone sends me the incorrect amount, I refund it and  I GET CHARGED? And my deposit gets stopped?  WHAT DID I DO WRONG TO BE CHARGED anything??    What gives?

SO any transaction no matter if its incorrect or not gets charged a FEE? EVEN when the INCORRECT AMOUNT IS SENT TO ME???  WHAT DID I DO TO DESERVE A FEE?  SEND IT BACK?   It was the wrong amount for something I don't even know about, I send it back and I get charged?  WHY?  It was WRONG!!!  What was I supposed to do KEEP IT? Then someone will say WHY did you keep it????  You should have sent it back!!!!  WHAT THE HECK IS GOIN ON HERE???

There is NO Compromised bank accounts or otherwise on either side, it is a simple case of sending the incorrect amount... whats the FEE for?  .....

SO the FEE gets refunded to ME, minus 30 Cents and the money that goes back to the sender is now short by just under $7 and he is asking me why I sent him the money minus $7!!!   WHAT'S GOING ON?????  WHY DID MY DEPOSIT GET STOPPED ???/ FOR 30 cents????  30 cents for something  that I tried to make right by refunding it??

I am missing something here!!!

Blunt, That was way harsh. The Op is confused and its apparent that English is not their first language if the grammar is any indication. They came here for help, not to be yelled at.

Op, call customer service at paypal. Then calmly ask them about the fees. It may just be a glitch in the system that will sort itself out, or maybe there was an issue in the way you refunding the money.

I agree that Blunt was a bit harsh. It is apparent that the OP is frustrated. I surely understand. I can also feel his pain. Sometimes, one has to stamp their feet, throw things, maybe even cuss when they feel that they are being treated in an unjust manner. I too am VERY frustrated with PayPal. I NEED the money that they are holding from me. However, I took out my frustration on my lawnmower that wouldn't start. Under my breath, I called it the "B" word, (and by the way, I am a female-- I really shouldn't have said that 🙂

LOL! My lawnmower is temperamental whenever I try to start it. I think it's just lazy... Smiley Very Happy

Blunt , you could learn to capitalize and spell correctly as well. Cap the first word of the sentence and it's 'you're (you are), not your.
