Why are questions like this not being answered -- even by a PayPal representitive? I have been searching for this same answer a week now. Is this a question that PayPal employees are being warned at weekly meeting to not address or answer? It's as if they are saying, "Don't dare tell the PayPal member how to move and liquidate their money. We WANT that money, and if you want your paychecks and bonuses it would serve you best to keep them in the dark. Remember, money leaving PayPal accounts mean money leaving our pockets!" ... I agree that Blunt was a bit harsh. It is apparent that the OP is frustrated. I surely understand. I can also feel his pain. Sometimes, one has to stamp their feet, throw things, maybe even cuss when they feel that they are being treated in an unjust manner. I too am VERY frustrated with PayPal. I NEED the money that they are holding from me. However, I took out my frustration on my lawnmower that wouldn't start. Under my breath, I called it the "B" word, (and by the way, I am a female-- I really shouldn't have said that 🙂 ... View more

I'd like to know exactly that too! Something has gone "askew" with PayPal. In fact, I feel like PayPal has become the playground bully. They are holding my money ($750.00) up over my head. The higher I jump, the higher they hold it up. I've called and have spoken to several PayPal representatives (from India, I believe). I haven't been given a clear or definitive answer as to "how" I can withdraw my money from PayPal and have it deposited into/onto my Greendot card. I've successfully done it in the past with absolutely no problems-- now, all of a sudden, it has become impossible. I am a Verified PayPal Member, with a verified address and verified bank account. I have no sending limits, and I have no withdrawal limits. PayPal has blamed it on Greendot--however, I have called Greendot, they blame PayPal. I have counted on this money being deposited. My Greendot automatic debits are being "declined" and I'm watching in disbelief as PayPal taunts me with MY money-- Money that I have worked hard to earn. I believe that PayPal has become a greedy monopoly that has sucked me and so many others in. I also believe that PayPal is abusing their financial power. PayPal was once a convenient and good tool. They were deserving of the percentage that they required to utilize their services. Unfortunately, I have no idea how to fight for myself on this "uneven" playing field. I have come to the point that selling on eBay has become too labor intensive and risky due to the uncertainty of whether PayPal will issue my money to me, or force me to keep it under their control. Could someone please share their knowledge by directing me and the previous poster in finding the solution to obtaining our money.   Thanks for your time.   Lori  ... View more
