how long does pending on pay pal last

Hi can any one help me some one had got into my account and tried to buy on my paypal account after a long call to paypal and my bank  and being told to contact the customer service of the co that the goods were bought from for the order to be canx which i have done but the money is still showing pending will it allways stay there or will paypal put  somthing in its place

If there has been a payment sent from your PayPal account without your permission, you can try contacting us directly through the Contact Us icon at the bottom of any PayPal webpage. From here, you can then click the Call Us or Email Us options in order to get in contact with customer services directly.

We will be able to advise you why the funds are still pending and we will be able to assist you with trying to get the payment refunded and we can also investigate the reason why the payment is showing a status of pending.
