last thursday £300 was taken from my bank by paypal ... ive spoken to paypal they said they have no record of this ..... so i tracked the order via the bank and found out it was an order for car parts .. emailed the shop who sent me all the details saying he thought it was fraud it did come from paypal my bank statment also says papal...... ive sent all copys of paper work to paypal like i was ask   ......... and no responce      .... 9 days later still no responce....... help

Why not just ask the car parts firm to refund the money?

But to speak to paypal go to contact us bottom of paypal pages > put in account probs and phone number given > when you get through do not say or select any option just hang on till you get an agent.

In the meantime do a virus scan on you puter and change your password.

ive spoken to paypal .thats the problem they are doing nothing ..... payment was stopped by the shop ... but for some reason its not got back to me

Hey there,

If the payment is not showing on your PayPal account then the payment may have been sent using your card information as a once off payment through PayPal.

If that is the case the payment can be located through our system once we know what the funding source was, i.e. your credit/debit card or bank account directly.

We can then place the payment on hold and investigate. Once it has been confirmed as unauthorised, the payment will be returned.
