found an extra unknown delivery address in a list when checking out

Hi all,

I am new here  and have not yet scoured the site fully for answers.

I had a strange experience when checking out at a site tonight.

When going through the details of payment type etc, when i hit the edit button of delivery address, I found my usual addresses I had entered previously, and also noticed another , from a location I did not recognise. ( I have just searched and found it to be in a north african country). I am in the UK, and have no previous foreign delivery addresses where goods have been sent to.

What did I just find? Has someone previously logged into my account and had goods delivered there?

I have checked back through the last couple of years transactions looking for something odd, but cannot find this address, it might have been put there years ago, and I hadnt seen it.

Is there anywhere in the PayPal dashboard where I can find previously logged delivery addresses?

Is there any PayPal admin I can contact to check records for fraud?

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community!

You can find the address you used in the past in the 'Settings' option of your PayPal account and modify or delete any address that you do not recognise. For more information click here. If you cannot find this address, please send us an email and we will look into it.

I have the same issue, but those instructions did not work: in my Paypal account, only the one address shows, but when I get to "Checkout" using Paypal there are 5 different addresses, 3 of which do not appear in the Paypal settings.
