Think I've been scammed

I recently seen concert tickets on gumtree, and contacted the seller on there regarding prices etc. After emailing back and forwards she said to me if I bought them that day I could have them at a price worked out between us. The concert is not until October so the seller said that they would send them to me when she recieved them from ticket master. So I paid for the tickets through pay pal. After a couple of days I thought I would check gumtree to see if she has taken the item down, but noticed they were still there. I emailed her and she said don't worry they are yours. Even though I'm stupid and did pay her I thought afterwards I should have asked her to send me the confirmation email she would have getting from ticket master after paying for them, so I decided to email her again through the emails through gumtree, it's been 2 days and she hasn't replied, I then emailed her through her hotmail account, the email was returned to myself. I've just check gumtree and the tickets are still on. I still have all the emails, but was wondering what do I do now? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just recieved this email from her!!! Hi. (No i told you when you bought them that they said they would come up to 2 weeks before the event, the concert isnt until Oct so could be until then. I dont have the confirmation as they where bought on a different account but you have my email and i promise that youl get the tickets as soon as i recieve them.) Do you think I should trust her? She got payment about 3 days ago.

Unfortunately PayPal is not the service to use for purchasing tickets.  There's a few reasons here as to being scammed.  The first is tickets are not covered for buyer protection, they can be classified under services at PayPal's discretion.  Next, per your post, sounds like you used the Send Money feature to make the purchase.  As you did not have an invoice nor statement, you don't really have any good proof of purchase but, that's a moot point as tickets are not covered.  You can still try to file a claim however, PayPal most likely won't do anything in your benefit  Sorry, that's not what you wanted to here.  Scammers know how PayPal can be used for their advantage.
