Somone has access to my account details

Hello, Just about 30 minutes ago someone accessed my Steam account and changed my password. I have contacted Steam Support about that and I guess they are going to figure it out. After that, I received an email from PayPal that some of my account details has been changed or something, when I click the mail it says it's DELETED. I immediately changed my password on my mail account and PayPal, shut down my PC in case someone has put a keylogger on it or something. I don't know what to do. From this stage, I'm pretty **bleep** sure someone has access to my account(s). What can I do? I am very concerned.. ANY help would be seriously appreciated.

One straight forward option is to close your PayPal Account.  Remove any bank account and/or credit card info first, then close the account.   You can always open a new one.  Before you do that ensure that you monitor any bank accounts and/or credit cards you may have.  If you do encounter any suspicious activity, you can always notify your bank and/or card issuer.

1. Run an anti virus scan once you have updated protection plus run an anti malware scan.

2. Change your password on paypal to a strong one and check your account.

3. Any problems with the account you can file for unauthorised use against any transactions.

4. Any probs contact customer services.

Click on the words "Contact us" at the bottom of paypal pages > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent.

OR have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

Fortunately I have no credit cards on the account and no money on it right now.. I will now boot up my PC again and run an antivirus.

Someone sent me this email now:

Dude, here's your Steam account -

Username: xxxxx
Password: (my password)

I just wanted to try DayZ on my PC
Anyway, change your password and reinstall Windows because you've been hacked and some of your passwords are accessible by anyone ( I didn't hack you 😛 )
