PayPal security code.

Why do I no longer have to enter a security code, when I purchase on ebay.

I still receive a code when I log in to my PayPal account but when I click on confirm and pay the transaction takes place straight away. I used to have to enter a code I received on my mobile. I have not made any changes to my PayPal settings.

Hi bonnieman, 

It sounds like you may have set up one click checkout on your eBay account. This is where you are automatically logged in and do not need to sign in again when making a payment on eBay using your PayPal account. This allows you to pay quicker. You can switch this back off if you wish. 

To switch this feature off:

1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account.
2. Click the Settings icon near the top of the page.
3. Click Security.
4. Next to 'Log In with PayPal', click Edit.
5. Tick the checkbox next to the relevant website(s).
6. Click Remove.
