PayPal account permanently limited

Hello

I received a email from PayPal in the early hours of Thursday morning say my account has been permanently limited. I have removed all references to PayPal from my website etc apart from ebay as it won't let me as ebay say I need to have PayPal on the ebay listings. I am getting fed up with PayPal now as I am losing sales from ebay as I sell computer accessories on ebay and my website design customers also can't pay me either as they prefer PayPal to pay me as website design is my main line of business.

I have emailed PayPal's brand risk management and they don't seem to getting back to me and spoke to PayPla customer services and they said I just got to wait for a call from the brand risk management department but that could take 3-5 days and to be honest I can't wait that long and will take it higher and further as I got money in PayPal and going in on a regular basis and within the email I received it says they will hold my money for up to 180 days.

I am not happy PayPal

Has anyone got a phone number for brand risk management or has anyone had similar issues with PayPal

Thank you in advance

Ian

PayPal

  • All sellers on eBay.co.uk must offer to accept PayPal. The limited exceptions to this are detailed in the Restricted section below.

That is from ebays site so if you are not allowed to use paypal then odds are you can't use Ebay ?

That's it I know and am unable to use Ebay so am losing sales now through Ebay. I will be taking it further and higher as am not at all happy with PayPal and don't seem to want to help, obviously don't want or like people doing well and having money paid into PayPal on a daily basis.

Weird as its not in their interest to limit an account that is making them money  !!

That's it, that's why I am confused by it and is not a new account either, I have had the PayPal for around 5/6 years or so now if not longer. Sorry to moan is just frustrating

Have you phoned them??

Click on the words "Contact" at the bottom of your paypal account summary page and use the phone option (if there is one in the country you are in) > click on the "call us" option on the left (fees "may" apply so check the cost with your phone tariff first, as you sometimes have to wait a while to connect).

When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent or say the word "agent".

OR

have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?

You can send them a personal message from their facebook or twitter pages.

It's: https://www.facebook.com/PayPalUK and @AskPayPal for Twitter.

yeah I have phoned them, they just tell me I got to wait for brand risk management to phone me, they said it can be up to 72 hours from Thursday so they said I should get a call tomorrow afternoon at the latest if not before, they did tell me to send in invoices from my suppliers and contact info of my suppliers which I have just done so am hoping that will help and get it resolved
