My brothers Paypal account has disappeared?

Hi, my brother seems to have had his account deleted. He last used it on the 3rd January for an eBay purchase & had no issues with it. He has subsequently tried logging in on the mobile app and on the website with no luck. When trying to reset the password he gets a message saying the email address is not associated with any Paypal account despite this being the email address he set up the account with and has never changed it. Can anyone help?

He would need to phone customer services, he can use the 'guest' option if he can't log in.

Click on the words "Help / Contact" at the bottom of paypals pages and use the phone option in the blue band at the top OR very bottom of page dependent on what country you are in.
When you get through don't select any options just hang on till you get transfered to an agent OR just say the word 'Agent'".
In the UK its free from any landline phone.

How could this happen, he hasn't had any issues in the past.

Sorry no idea on that one.

Paypal 'limit' accounts but never heard of them closing one unless it has been inactive for a long period of time.
