Login issues

I am unable to access my account. I have forgotten my password and when I request a password link it just keeps saying that something has gone wrong at their end. I telephoned them on Wednesday and they said it is because I had a negative balance. They said they would sort that for me and I'd be able to get a password link and sign in within 72 hours, which I still can't do. I also tried to do it on a friend's phone and it said the same, so it can't be my device. Does anyone have any ideas what to do?

Hi Sherbetini, 

 

Welcome to the PayPal community 🙂 

 

It sounds like your account may have been locked due to your negative balance. This can happen if an account is not resolved. This would mean that even trying to reset your password would not work. I would recommend to give it another day or two and then try to log in. It can sometimes take a little extra time to be resolved.
