Hi there,
I'm trying to change my telephone number, so that I can then confirm my telephone number on my mobile phone, as your phone app is requiring of me.
I'm doing this on my laptop. The number I am trying to migrate to is: +4367******83 my old number is: +4366******97
I have both numbers currently logged on the system.
It doesn't matter what I do in settings, it just won't let me either update my new number as primary, or delete my old number.
When I click on 'Remove' - on the old number it comes up with some very strange message saying: "The characters you've entered do not match the characters in the image. Please try again". The problem is, nowhere on that page is it showing some security image for me to confirm I'm not a bot.
It says the same when I try to remove my new number.
Updating the new number does nothing, and it will not allow me to confirm my new number by text, - there is no button to do this.
However there is a 'confirm' button on my old number, ..... Which is unnecessary as I don't use the old number any more.
Please help me to sort this out, currently I have no access to my Paypal phone app beyond the security page.
