Help Me Please!

Right, difficult to explain but, basically I sold an item about a week/10 days ago on eBay for £53 and the guy said he hasn't received it so has opened up a case, therefore my funds are being held.

The following day I sold another item on eBay for £70 thus leaving me £17 in my PayPal account.

Since both of these transactions I have had a completed unrelated item refunded by a seller on eBay for the value of £14.99.

I have now just viewed my statement and it reads this:

I have not transfered ANYTHING to my bank account and/or credit card (I don't even have a credit card!!)

But my balance is reading £0.00

Have I been hacked or a victim of fraud?

Any answers would be great, thanks in advance. Leah

Did you fund the original payment by your debit card? Cus if so then you refund will go back to your bank account.

As for the £17 have you bought anything and used paypal to pay for it SINCE the money went into your paypal balance.

Cus if you have any paypal balance paypal will always take funds from there first instead of your normal funding source.

The orginial payment (the one I ended up getting refunded) was just through PayPal on eBay.

I have never done anything different.

I just don't get why it's saying 'credit card' - I don't own a credit card. I have a PayPal acount and debit card.

Paypal often refers to a debit card as a credit card.
