Hi my phone was stolen over a month ago and I know to me someone has accessed my eBay and sold items on there and obviously not send them and my eBay account was attached to my PayPal account and now my PayPal has a massive negative balance I’m very worried I had only signed in to my email address today and to see many emails from PayPal and I have not been able to access my eBay acount I think the passwords been changed I don’t know but I want my PayPal account frozen or closed this has nothing to do with me I have been a member on PayPal since 2012 and never has anything like this happened I believe the person who stole my phone accessed my apps where they automatically sign in. I hope I am covered by paypal insurance because this is. I thing to do with me I am mindblown some could do this to me and other people on eBay! Please help me or freez this I don’t know if he is still doing it.

Well if your phone was stolen the first thing you should have done was change the passwords on any apps that had auto sign in enabled.

So any fraud committed is your responsibility, you can file disputes against the transactions for 'unauthorised access' and hope that paypal will find in your favour but there is no guarantee as the person is using your apps.

Paypal won't close your account until you pay the debt so the best thing is to phone customer services and see if they will help you change passwords etc.
