Email Notifications Language settings??

Hi Folks,

I wonder if one of you wonderful people might be able to help me.  My mother in law lives in france but is english speaking, her pay pal account is all set up in english and using it isnt a problem, but if ever she is sent a notification like "the supplier has posted your item" she gets it in french and so can't make out the critical details.

Is there any way to change the notification language settings so that everything Pay Pal sends her is in English, depsite her French IP address?

Hi all,

Here’s how to change the language on the PayPal account:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Click the Profile icon at the top right corner of the page.
3. Click Update beside ‘Preferred language'.
4. Select your preferred language and click Save.

The PayPal website and the emails you receive from us will be in your selected language. Changing the language does not change how your PayPal account works.

In order to change the language on eBay account, please contact eBay Customer Support by email, live chat, or phone. Here’s how:

1. Go to www.ebay.co.uk
2. Click 'Help & Contact' at the top right of the page.
3. Select the 'Contact eBay' tab. (You may be asked to log in if you have an eBay account.)
4. Choose a topic related to your issue/query.
5. Depending on your preference, select 'Call us' or 'Chat with us'.

Here’s how to change the language on the PayPal account:

That does not work, even from scratch - on Paypal itself there is no 'profile' just a cog wheel that takes you to your account where there is a drop down list to choose language.  It changes the language of Paypal itself, but that is it.  On here, there is a 'profile' but it has no language setting.

Still getting emails in the wrong language.
