I have been trying to change my primary email address with a brand new one. It is stating that you should be able to do this by clicking the delete button next to your OLD email address there is no delete button or at least not on my account/page. I have just read through some of the community email queries and someone has just given me the answer.
log into your account - go to settings - click on notifications - your old email will show on the left hand side of the page- click onto it - the NEW email address that you want as your primary will show on the right side of your screen - then click back to previous page - go into settings - it should now show as your primary address.
This has worked for me so maybe give it a try good luck all
