A bit of a complicated one that I really need some help with - have spent hours trying to reset password, ringing PayPal and scouring all the help articles to no avail!
Just over a year ago I started setting a business up with my ex-partner. I have everything registered to me (email address, website hosting, domain name, mailchimp, social media accounts etc.), all except PayPal annoyingly. I have tried all of the passwords that we had used to set up our business accounts (they were all the same/similar) and I can't get into the PayPal account. I have tried to reset the password but after you get the verification code emailed to you, you have to receive a text message or phone call, and his phone is registered as the phone number. I am just getting back to setting everything up after a bit of a break. I have absolutely zero contact with him and this is not something I can do so I need to find a way to either close the current account registered to the business email address (there has been no trading through it since it was set up) or change the details on the account, please help!
My contact with PayPal so far on the phone included being promised an email to direct me to change the registered account holder, but this email never arrived and it took 3 phone calls to PayPal and nearly an hour to get this far. I'd appreciate any other help. I have my own personal PayPal, hence being able to add a message here.
