i was told i sold a item but the item is still listed

i got a email saying a ebay transaction was confirmed but ebay says no money was sent and the item is still listed

@LardellClark15  This is a very possible scam ... never ship anything until you see $$ in your PayPal account ... otherwise irgnore the messages.
